Overview
This workflow produces a month of social media content in under an hour. AI generates posts, creates visuals, and schedules everything across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Threads.
What You’ll Need
- ChatGPT or Claude — Content generation ($20/mo)
- Canva AI — Visual creation (free)
- Buffer or Hootsuite — Scheduling ($15/mo)
Step 1: Content Calendar Generation
- Use ChatGPT to generate a month of social media posts: Prompt: “Generate a 30-day social media content calendar for [niche]. Include: 12 educational posts, 8 engagement posts, 5 promotional posts, 5 personal stories. Each post needs: platform, hook (1 line), body (2-3 lines), hashtags (5), best posting time.”
- Review and customize: remove anything that doesn’t fit your voice
- Add your own content: recent wins, customer stories, team photos
Step 2: Visual Creation
- For each post, Canva AI generates on-brand visuals
- Use Canva’s Brand Kit: colors, fonts, logo
- Create templates: educational (quote + stat), engagement (poll question), promotional (product + CTA)
- Export: 1080x1080 (LinkedIn/IG feed), 1080x1920 (Stories/Reels)
Step 3: Scheduling
- Import posts and visuals into Buffer
- Set optimal posting times:
- LinkedIn: Tue-Thu 8-10am
- Twitter/X: Mon-Fri 9am-3pm
- Instagram: Mon-Fri 11am-2pm
- Threads: Evening 6-9pm
- Auto-schedule for the entire month
Step 4: Performance Analysis
- Weekly review of top 3 posts by engagement
- AI analysis: “What patterns do the top posts share?”
- Adjust content mix: more of what works, less of what doesn’t
- Repurpose: top-performing posts → LinkedIn article or Twitter thread
Content Mix
| Type | % of Posts | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Educational | 40% | “How to use AI for X” |
| Engagement | 25% | Polls, questions, discussions |
| Promotional | 20% | Product features, offers |
| Personal | 15% | Behind-the-scenes, stories |
Results
- Time/month: 1 hour (vs. 10-15 hours manually)
- Posts per month: 60+ (2/day across platforms)
- Engagement rate: 2-4% (consistent with manual posting)
- Content fatigue: reduced (variety of content types) |
